Pioneering Empowerment in Santipur Since its inception, the Kanyashree Club under the Santipur Block jurisdiction has evolved from a simple beneficiary group into a powerful vigilance force. Our clubs, established across various High Schools and Madrasahs in the block, have rewritten the narrative for the girl child in rural Bengal.
The history of our success is not just defined by the financial grants distributed, but by the number of dreams we have saved. From preventing child marriages to leading community hygiene drives, the members of the Kanyashree Club have proven to be the true “Change Makers” of society.
Our Milestones & Impact

- Combating Child Marriage: The Kanyashree Club members have successfully intervened and prevented numerous cases of underage marriages within the block, working closely with the Block Administration and Childline.

- Dropout Re-Integration: We have successfully identified and re-enrolled girls who dropped out of the education system due to financial or social pressure, ensuring they complete their secondary education.

- Self-Defense & Confidence: Regular self-defense workshops (Taekwondo/Karate) have been organized, empowering girls to navigate their commute and daily lives with confidence.
